Requirements
Note FEI Children's age rule:
A rider may compete in the FEI Children division from the beginning of the calendar year in which he/she reaches the age of 12 until the end of the calendar year in which he/she reaches the age of 14.
Qualification
Qualification for USA Citizens: Qualification for USA Citizens: A 58% or higher in any test from First Level Test One through Prix St. Georges. In addition, FEI Children's Preliminary Test and FEI Individual Pony Test are accepted. Test scores must be from a USDF/USEF recognized show and must have been awarded within the twelve month period before the 2012 competition start date.
Lendon Gray's Youth Dressage Festival (www.youthdressagefestival.com) is a qualifying event for CADI. Each year, the YDF sponsors a CADI team. The qualification for this team is according to the YDF rules and regulations.
International riders qualify according to their individual country's criteria.
USA riders, with the exception of the Youth Dressage Festival sponsored team, qualify according to CADI criteria.
HORSES
All riders within a 600 mile radius of Concord, MA, must bring an appropriate horse to ride. Those outside the area will be provided with a borrowed horse, if desired.
Form Submission
Competitors are required to submit the OPL Entry, the CADI Entry, and the signed CADI Indemnity Form. Competitors are responsible for reading all forms listed below.
All entries must be complete at the time they are sent. Entries will not be considered unless they are complete. Read about Entry Fee payment options below.
Please note that members of non-USA federations do not pay any USDF fees, but USEF fees (including the USEF Drug Fee) are required. All USA riders must be USDF and USEF members. All international riders MUST be nominated by their federations. ALL RIDERS must pay the USEF drug fee ($15)**[Note new USEF Drug Fee].
Canadian Citizens competing in USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized Competitions
Canadian citizens entered as either riders or owners in non-CDI dressage competitions who are not current USDF Group or Participating members must pay the $20 per competition non-member fee and complete the USDF non-member form. Exceptions to this requirement can be found here.
